If you have a flash story, short story, collection, or novel in want of a fresh perspective, you can send a pitch to K.C. at: kcmeadbrewer AT gmail DOT com
In your email, be sure to include: the premise of your story, the word count, and what your specific goals and questions/concerns are for the story in question.
Depending on the length of the project, you’ll receive an editorial note between two and fifteen pages long. This critique letter will discuss character development, story structure, dialogue, POV, pacing, and other storytelling elements to help you better recognize your strengths and to reconsider how each piece fits together to better serve the story.
In addition to this critique letter, you’ll receive in-text comments and line-edits via Track Changes that will look at everything from word choice to grammar (though copy-editing will not be the primary goal of these line-edits).
